Alice White is an American poet living in Canada.
Originally from Kansas, she holds an M.A. in English from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where she was awarded the King James VI Prize. She has received support for her work through fellowships and scholarships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Brooklyn Poets, and the Hawthornden Foundation, and she was selected for inclusion in Best New Poets 2023.
Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in publications including Blackbird, Black Warrior Review, Copper Nickel, Greensboro Review, Gulf Coast, The London Magazine, New Letters, New Ohio Review, North American Review, Pleiades, The Poetry Review, Poetry Wales, The Rialto, Swamp Pink, and The Threepenny Review, and has been featured on the podcast The Slowdown.
She recently relocated to Nova Scotia, Canada with her family after ten years in France.
