Alice White is an American poet originally from Kansas.

She holds an M.A. in English from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where she was awarded the King James VI Prize. A recipient of the Langston Hughes Award, she has received support for her work through fellowships and scholarships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Brooklyn Poets, and the Hawthornden Foundation.

Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Best New Poets, Blackbird, Black Warrior Review, Copper Nickel, The Greensboro Review, Gulf Coast, The London Magazine, New Letters, New Ohio Review, North American Review, The Poetry Review, The Rialto, Swamp Pink, and The Threepenny Review, and has been featured on the podcast The Slowdown.
